Nanowrimo

I should be in bed.  And I’m hopping there in just a second because I’m at work before most of you hit snooze for the first time.  But I just wanted to share my excitement.

I’m a writer as most of you know.  Officially or unofficially or whatever.  Unfortunately lately, though, I’ve been hiding under some sort of writing rock.  And I’ve been pretending like I’m not one.  (Uh, anyone notice how this blog has been so neglected?  Yeah, rock.)

But being a writer, and having gone to school for creative writing, I accidentally made some friends along the way.  Friends who are also writers and who may also feel like hiding under writing rocks.  (Hey, we all do it from time to time).

Writing slumps are sometimes really hard to pull out of.  And they’re especially hard to pull yourself out of.

It’s November, which means nanowrimo.  I was planning on pretending it just didn’t exist this year because of my slump.  But out of no where, one of my writing buddies just happened to message me on twitter…

…Uhhh?  Yes?

So this was a round about way of saying that I’m writing this month.  And it’s all thanks to a friend I was in Creative Writing with in college.  Get excited…

About JoElizabeth

I am a writer who loves to explore all different types of relationships. I am most happy when surrounded by my loved ones and furry children. I've never met a stranger, and I talk way too much. My favorite things to do are eat {preferably at a restaurant} with good friends, write, watch DVDs of TV series {especially FRIENDS}, drink lots of coffee and learn.
