What you’ll need:
– 2 to 3 boneless skinless chicken breast
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– 1 onion finely chopped
– 2 cans cream of chicken soup
– chicken broth
– refrigerated biscuit dough
Place semi-frozen chicken breast in crock pot. Top with butter. Pour 2 cans of cream of chicken soup over chicken. Pour onion on top. Add enough chicken broth so that chicken is completely covered.
Cook on high in crock pot for 5 hours.
With 2 forks, shred the chicken breasts.
About an hour before serving, tear pieces of the biscuit dough (you can ball them if you want) and place them into the mixture. Stir to be sure the dumplings are submerged. You may need to add more broth.
