sick day [2]

It’s been hard for me to muster up the energy to do anything today, never mind come up with some creative blog post for you all.  Hubs got sick while I was visiting Raleigh, and I was starting to feel crummy while I was there.  Now that I’m back in GA?  I’m feeling much worse.  And though I’m fully aware that the thermostat is set to 71 and the heat is efficiently working in this house, i. am. freezing! Not even a large mug of hot chocolate could touch these chills.  Fan-freaking-tastic.  So on this rainy sick day, I’m completely bundled up to the max in sweats, heating and reheating hot chocolate and watching re-runs of Sex & The City on E! even though I’ve got all the episodes on DVD… Miss Bailey Bell is adjusting wonderfully to living with Hubs and I, and the cats are gaining up their courage around her.

(Thanks for the bone, Grandma!)

(my sick day buddies)

Don’t worry, George is around here somewhere.  He’s probably snuggled up with J on the couch in the living room where he’s spending his sick day.
I promise tomorrow’s post will be more of substance.  But out of 100, there are bound to be a few like this ;).  Until tomorrow, friends.  {Aaachoo!}
