.a real live wedding dream.

I wonder if wedding dreams are like dreams about falling. You wake up JUST before the vows {or hitting the ground}.

Let’s make sure the following doesn’t happen:

-the limo people kept trying to roll up the aisle carpet before the MOH walked, then DID pull it up before I walked. {which then I grabbed them on the way out and gently {not} reminded them that at a wedding you don’t pull up the carpet before the girl in a big white dress walks!}
-My father (and brother) arrive in a timely fashion avoiding having me wait impatiently behind closed doors {which then I proceed to walk down the aisle in a mess of chaos alone looking for my father & letting my groom & the whole church see me)
-My groom was not on the alter when I was finally escorted in…he was in a chair off to the side holding a mid sized black dog {which i told him needed to get down because of my WHITE dress}
-I thought we forgot the rings, but my mother saved the day by slipping them into a bag I just happened to look in just before the vow exchange.
-My maid of honor was afraid to get on the alter with us. All of a sudden she was shy, and I had to go into the congregation and literally drag her onto the alter.

wow…that was a lot o happen before the vows were even exchanged. Funny thing is–I was just so excited the whole time that I didn’t even care that my wedding was essentially ruined. Let’s hope that attitude sticks around :)

I tried SO hard to go back to sleep & back into this dream, but I guess my sub-conscience thought it was too traumatic to watch the rest :)
