a home win [80]

Today my best friends and I gathered up our rain gear and braved the cool and rainy weather to attend my first appalachian tailgate as an alumni (yes, in two years).

It was rainy.
It was cold.
It was AMAZING!
It was so great to get to see a whole bunch of people whom I haven’t seen in years all in the same place for the same reason!  It was also really awesome to see the amount of people who couldn’t have cared less about the weather and gathered to support their school and visit with their old friends.
I always loved tailgates while I was in school.  It was like a great “reunion” almost every week to spend time with all your buddies who you didn’t get to see as often because school consumed your life.
I hope some day when I’m fifty I will still be returning to the alma mater no matter our home-town and support our wonderful school and still be running into our great and unforgettable college buddies!
Way to go Apps!
